Technology at Saint Jude School
With Chromebooks, iPads, and SmartBoards being utilized by both students and teachers, Saint Jude School is leading the way in Wauwatosa with technology in teaching.
In instructional settings, the value of these technologies often lies in the interactive capabilities. Students are involved and participating in a way that has never been done before. Many thanks to our benefactors and the Home and School Association. Through your efforts in fundraising we have been able to be in the forefront of education. While always focusing on teaching the basics, we have been able to move ahead and allow our students the opportunities that technology has to offer.
Curriculum Development
The qualified Saint Jude School staff develops the content curriculum areas, focusing on the Wisconsin State Standards, Archdiocesan curriculum guidelines and the needs of our community. Saint Jude School's curriculum plan allows for the necessary flexibility in grouping, progressive sequencing of learning, equal availability of resources, varied curricular experiences and effective evaluation. Textbooks are chosen from the listing of programs recommended by the Archdiocese of Milwaukee and are evaluated on a regular basis with new texts only being introduced after thorough research.
